Andrew has over 20 years education and working experience in the Banking & Finance and the Securities industry. He is considered a well established Investment Banker and has held senior positions during his career, advising on numerous high profile transactions involving M&A deals, direct investment and corporate restructurings.

During his career, Andrew has worked in Australia, New York and Hong Kong, and is now based in Shanghai. He has been involved in strategic planning, local acquisitions, specialised debt structuring and strategic planning for Asian and China debt syndications. Later in his career Andrew moved to Hong Kong and became a partner in a very established Hong Kong stock broking and investment banking group, in charge of managing and building its investment banking operations. During this time he acted as advisors to a number of leading international, Hong Kong, Singapore and China based corporations and organizations. Andrew has spent the last 15 years working within the Asian region, working on complex cross-border transactions relation to M&A, corporate finance, corporate restructurings and investment transactions.

Andrew holds Member status of the Hong Kong Securities Institute and a Fellow status of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. Andrew is very well known in corporate circles and the investment banking community both internationally and in Hong Kong.

Wing-Yun Wong, ACS, ACIS, MHKIoD

Wing-Yun was educated in England and holds a BA Hons Degree in Accounting from Exeter University, U.K. Wing-Yun worked with KPMG Singapore for 3 years, moving onto mortgage financing and financial planning before joining FCP in 2000. Wing-Yun also holds a Masters degree in Corporate Governance and has been an associate member of The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries and The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (U.K.) since 2006. Additionally, Wing-Yun is a member of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors.

Wing-Yun is the Managing Director of First Capital Partners, and also a Director of FCP Corporate Services. Her experience and expertise brings value to the corporate and advisory business of FCP as well as being actively involved with FCP’s private equity investments.

Wing-Yun brings considerable value to FCP and its direct investment vehicles. She is responsible for the management of private equity investment transactions, corporate governance and corporate advisory services, and plays a key management role within FCP Group of Companies.

 

Michael Zhang
Managing Director, FCP Advisory Services, China

Michael Zhang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Statistics and an MBA from Fu Dan University. Michael has over 17 years business experience in supply chain management, information technology and financial industries. After starting his career with a state-owned company, Shanghai Metro Corporation, Michael joined International Nutrition Company where he led the successful implementation of SAP. As the Senior Director, Operations and Services for Philips Consumer Electronics China, Michael managed the operations for most of its China business units including SCM, services, IT and quality control, in addition to successfully managing the company’s SAP project implementation.

Over the years, Michael has founded several web-based companies and has assisted in the successful fund raising for such companies. More recently, Michael co-founded China Network Logistics Group Limited, a leading supply chain service provider in China. He was responsible for the group’s strategic business development, finance department as well as M&A activities, where he led the successful acquisition of two well-established privately owned logistics companies.

Michael is primarily responsible for overseeing FCP’s investment and asset management strategies and objectives in China, with a focus on M&A activities and advisory for FCP investments. Michael brings in-depth local insight and knowledge as well as an extensive network, and government relations expertise to the management team of FCP China.

 

Mark Schaub, China
Market Entry & Government Relations

Mark graduated from Adelaide University, Australia and also holds post-graduate degrees from the South Australian Institute of Technology, Freie Universität Berlin, Germany and East China University, Shanghai. Mark is a qualified lawyer and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in 1988.

He has over 20 years of legal and consulting experience in corporate law, working internationally in Australia, Europe and China. Having resided in Shanghai since 1995, Mark is now a senior partner with King and Wood, joining their Shanghai office in 2000. Mark’s extensive China related experience includes negotiating and advising on M&A, establishment of joint ventures/WFOEs, restructuring, transforming and acquisition of Joint Ventures and domestic entities, as well as advising foreign, Chinese and FIE clients in respect of compliance, intellectual property, distribution and general day to day corporate matters.

Mark is also author of 2 popular books on investment and doing business in China, published in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Mark was honored as “Lawyer of the Year” by Asia Law for every year from 2003 to 2008.

Mark is a panel member and advisor to FCP in respect of China market entry and government relations.

 

David McCann, BA
Managing Director, FCP Camino Management Pty Ltd

David holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and French from University College Galway (Ireland), and also has postgraduate training with AICD (Diploma in Company Directorship). With over 15 years of experience in providing entrepreneurial corporate advisory leadership on a series of M&A and capital raising transactions, David commenced his career in a range of senior business development and operations roles in the USA, principally in the fast food sector.

After immigrating to Australia in 1997, as an entrepreneur, David's equity interests and operational leadership expanded to include a range of other ventures in the USA, Australia and New Zealand operating in the fitness, financial services and marketing sectors. In 2007 David co- founded Camino Capital an independent corporate advisory firm in Australia, where he led a series of M&A and capital raising transactions.

David is the Managing Director of First Capital Management, bringing extensive business building and corporate advisory experience to the Australian based investment vehicle.
